Nothing really useful to know other than I'm a video game freak. I mostly watch flash movies on Newgrounds that are related to video games, especially sprite movies.

As of this writing, I barely finished animating the first section of the action sequence. There is planned to be three sections altogether. So these upcoming screen shots are from the first section. I started animating the action sequence back in March from what I remember, I know I was finished with the first half of the first section sometime that month, but that's when both my hard drives died simultaneously and I completely lost all the work I did for the action section, I had an earlier version of the episode burned on a dvd with all my other ludas animans materials, but it was a crushing blow to have to do all that work again (similar to episode 1 part 2). Also, once I got the new hard drive installed along with swish max, swish max was exporting the episode completely wrong, meaning everything was black & white and all the text was a garbled mess. I didn't know what caused this and I didn't know how to fix it, so that killed my motivation to continue working.

Around June I got a newer version of swish max, and it finally exported my movie correctly and thankfully the episode loaded correctly in the newer version. So I got to working right away. Since I have good photographic memory, I was able to reanimate what I lost of the action scene almost move for move. I did change a couple of things though since I remember some goblins just standing there doing nothing for a longer time than necessary. The camera movement was a bit altered to compensate for the changes I made.

Anyways, the next posts will have screen shots of the action scene. I think that's it for now, if there's anything you want to see in a future blog post, leave a comment and I'll see what I can do.

Till next time,
KNanakase
